Caldwell family

William Augustus "Gus" Caldwell was born in 1874 married Mary Elizabeth Anderson in 1904.  William worked as a slaughterman and lived in Clive, Hawkes Bay.  He enlisted in WWI and was killed in action 17 June 1917 in Belgium.  Information is all here

Gus left behind a young wife and four young children:

1. Myrtle Ivy Caldwell was born in 1905. Myrtle married Cecil Vivian Pointon in 1926.

2. William Augustus Caldwell Jnr was born in 1907. Details of William's marriage to Gladys Eileen Porter (see here). William died on 14 May 1962 at the age of 55. Gladys died on 10 May 1971 aged 62. They are both buried at the Hastings cemetery.

3. James Ernest Caldwell was born on 24 January 1908 and died in 1979.

4. Mary Elizabeth Caldwell was born in 1909.  In 1930 she married James Evans.

William Augustus Caldwell Snr
Mary Elizabeth Caldwell remarried in 1926 to Frederick James Hale.  Sadly for Mary, she outlived another husband, when Fred died in 1932 at the age of 54.  Mary seems to have died herself in 1940, at the age of 55.

  2. With havin so much content and articles do you ever run into any problems
of plagorism or copyright violation? My blog has a lot of unique
content I've either created myself or outsourced but
it seems a lot of it is popping it up all over
the web without my authorization. Do you know any methods to
help prevent content from being ripped off?
    I'd definitely appreciate it.
